The 2017 Ford Escape has not been on dealership lots for very long, but the crossover has already brought home some significant hardware. The Escape was just named the winner of the Cars.com Compact SUV Challenger. This is a significant addition to the list of 2017 Ford Escape award wins.
Several important features on the 2017 Escape drew praise from the Cars.com judges. Ford’s new Sync 3 infotainment system was singled out due to the system’s easy to use nature and clean display. The rest of the Escape’s interior was recognized as well, particularly the crossover’s quiet ride and ample storage areas.

The 2017 Ford Escape spreads its features and options out over three trim levels: S, SE and Titanium. Even though the S model is the base trim, it still is not lacking on the frills and luxuries. Fusion S models come equipped with 17-inch steel wheels, automatic headlights, LED taillights, the MyKey parental controls, a rearview camera and Bluetooth, USB and Auxiliary connectivity.
Moving up to the Escape SE trim adds alloy wheels, foglights, keyless entry keypad, dual-zone automatic climate control, steering wheel-mounted paddle shifters, rear air vents and satellite radio. Opting for the one of the available upgrade packages adds features like LED daytime running lights, roof rails, rear parking sensors, a 110-volt power outlet, Sync 3 infotainment system with an 8-inch touchscreen, a nine-speaker sound system and blind spot monitoring with rear cross-traffic alerts.
The top-of-the-line Escape Titanium trim spares nothing. Titanium models come equipped with features like a power rear liftgate, keyless entry and ignition, ambient interior lighting, an auto-dimming rearview mirror and a 10-speaker Sony sound system.
