Thanks to its sedan and hatchback body style options, along with its fun to drive nature and comprehensive suite of advanced new safety, technology, comfort and convenience features, the Ford Focus lineup has become one of the most popular Ford lineups around. In fact, it’s become one of the most popular car lineups in all the automotive industry. And that popularity is sure to continue to grow by leaps and bounds once the all-new 2019 Ford Focus lineup hits lots like ours here at Brandon Ford in Tampa, FL. Unfortunately, we don’t know a ton about the American version of the all-new Focus lineup at the moment, but we do know some about the Chinese and Europe versions. We might not know what engine options are coming to America for the new Ford Focus lineup at Brandon Ford in Tampa, FL, but we do know a few things about its powertrain features. For starters, we know the 2019 Focus lineup will feature an all-new chassis and suspension for better handling and pristine maneuverability. More specifically, these all-new features will provide a 20 percent improvement in torsional rigidity over the 2018 Ford Focus, which will make driving the all-new Focus even more of a dream come true. The drivability of the 2019 Focus lineup is getting further improved thanks to an all-new Electric Power Assisted Steering system and newly standard Drive Mode Technology. The 2019 Focus lineup’s available quick-shifting 8-speed automatic transmission will also boast new features in the form of Adaptive Shift Scheduling and Adaptive Shift Quality Control.
As we mentioned, we don’t know what’s going to be under the hood of the American version of the 2019 Ford Focus lineup. But we do know China is getting 2019 Focus models powered by either a 1.0-liter EcoBoost engine or an all-new 1.5-liter EcoBoost engine. Europe is also getting those engines, plus a 2.0-liter EcoBlue diesel engine. We’ll tell you all about the American engines here on our Brandon Ford Blog as soon as Ford releases the information.
