The 2017 Ford Escape has hit dealership inventories. As the first of new model year to arrive, the Escape offers the the first look at a ton of great new technology features. The FordPass system, available through Sync Connect, is one of these technologies that will be available on the Escape for the first time. The 2017 Ford Escape Sync Connect FordPass availability will allow offers owners remote access to their vehicle that can be used in several ways.
Utilizing Sync Connect technology, FordPass members will be able to use a connected mobile device to remotely access their vehicle. Anyone with a FordPass membership can use their smartphone to locate their vehicle and lock or unlock the doors. The system can also be used to remotely start the crossover and check the fuel level. All of this can be done easily from any device with the Sync Connect application.
Sync Connect is included on any 2016 Ford Escape SE trim equipped with the Technology Package and is standard on the Escape Titanium trim. The Escape is just the first 2017 model that will utilize the system. Sync Connect will also be included on the 2017 Fusion and then will work its way across the rest of the Ford lineup.
