The 2017 Ford F-150 is the only full-size truck to be named to the 2017 Greener Choices List by the American Council for an Energy-Efficient Economy (ACEEE). Joining other impressively fuel efficient vehicles like the 2017 Ford C-Max Hybrid, the new Ford F-150 and its 19 miles per gallon in the city and 24 miles per gallon on the highway earned a “Green Score” high enough to break the barrier of the 2017 Greener Choices List and show the world that full-size pickup trucks can be just as fuel efficient as they are powerful, rugged and dependable – at least when they’re made by Ford.

The 2017 Ford F-150 4×2 with the 2.7-liter EcoBoost V6 engine earned an ACEEE Green Score of 39, which placed it 12th overall on the Greener Choices List for 2017. The new Ford F-150 also achieved best-in-class gas fuel economy ratings as determined by the ACEEE, proving once again that Ford is at the forefront of improving fuel efficiency and gas mileage without sacrificing power, toughness and towing and hauling capability.
The 2017 Ford F-150’s spot on the ACEEE’s Greener Choices List is just one of many awards won so far by the new Ford F-150. The 2017 Ford F-150 has also been named the Most Wanted Full-Size Truck by Edmunds, won the 2017 Autobytel Buyer’s Choice Full-Size Truck Award and become a three-peat winner of Kelley Blue Book KBB.com Best Buy of the Year for Trucks Award, among many, many others.
