And that’s exactly what we’re going to focus on here as we take a look at the engine options and power ratings of the 2017 Ford F-Series Super Duty lineup.

The new Ford F-Series Super Duty lineup gives you the choice between two powerful and capable engines. The 2017 Ford F-250 and 2017 Ford F-350 feature a standard 6.2-liter 2-Valve V8 FFV engine offering 385 horsepower and 430 pound-feet of torque. The 2017 Ford F-450 features a standard 6.7-liter Power Stroke V8 Turbo Diesel engine offering 440 horsepower and 925 pound-feet of torque. This engine is also available for the new Ford F-250 and new Ford F-350. Both of these engines are paired with a TorqShift heavy-duty six-speed SelectShift automatic transmission with the available mobile and stationary mode power takeoff provision. The 2017 Ford F-Series Super Duty lineup is able to tow up to a maximum of 32,500 pounds and haul up to a maximum of 7,630 pounds.
