What are the Engine Choices for the 2018 Ford Escape at Brandon Ford in Tampa FL?

As we mentioned above, the new Ford Escape lineup gives you the choice between three powerful, capable and efficient engines. One is a 2.5-liter I-4 engine offering 168 horsepower and 170 pound-feet of torque. Another is a 1.5-liter EcoBoost I-4 engine offering 179 horsepower and 177 pound-feet of torque. Last but certainly not least, a 2.0-liter EcoBoost I-4 engine is also available. This engine offers 245 horsepower and 275 pound-feet of torque. The 2018 Ford Escape lineup also gives you the choice between front-wheel drive and Intelligent four-wheel drive. As for your transmission, each engine is paired with a six-speed SelectShift automatic transmission. These powertrains can also let you tow up to 3,500 pounds with your new Escape.
