Like we said, the 2018 Ford F-150 is more capable than the 2017 Ford F-150 in every possible way, and that includes fuel efficiency. In fact, the new Ford F-150 offers best-in-class gas mileage thanks to its second-generation 2.7-liter EcoBoost engine getting 20 miles per gallon in the city and 26 miles per gallon on the highway. And the rest of the 2018 F-150 engine lineup is no slouch when it comes to fuel economy, either, as two of its other engines offer better gas mileage than their 2017 counterparts.
