There’s a lot to be excited about thanks to the 2018 Ford Mustang being packed to the brim with a comprehensive suite of advanced new safety, technology, comfort and convenience features. One of the most exciting new aspects of the new Ford Mustang is its new pulsing start button feature, which pulses red at a rate of 30 beats per minute, mirroring the resting heart rate of a pony that’s all ready to go.

As soon as the doors are unlocked on your new 2018 Ford Mustang, the ignition button pulses red until the engine is started. The button is encased in an aluminum ring and positioned on the lower driver’s side of the center stack right below the audio system and climate controls.
