What Gas Engines Will be Available for the 2019 Ford Fusion Lineup When It Arrives at Brandon Ford in Tampa FL Later this Summer?

As we mentioned, we don’t know everything there is to know about the 2019 Ford Fusion lineup at this point in time. But we do know enough to make us incredibly impressed – and incredibly enthusiastic to welcome the new Ford Fusion lineup at Brandon Ford in Tampa, FL. We don’t know what the standard engine will be for the 2019 Ford Fusion S, but we do know the standard engine for the 2019 Ford Fusion SE and higher trim levels will be a 1.5-liter EcoBoost engine – we just don’t know the specific power and fuel efficiency ratings for that engine, though that same engine for the 2018 Ford Fusion lineup offered 181 horsepower and 185 pound-feet of torque. The standard engine for the 2019 Ford Fusion V6 Sport will once again be a 2.7-liter EcoBoost engine offering 325 horsepower and 380 pound-feet of torque – which once again makes it the most powerful car in its class.

What Hybrid Powertrains Will be Available for the All-New Ford Fusion Lineup?

The 2019 Ford Fusion Hybrid lineup will feature a 2.0-liter Atkinson-cycle 4-cylinder engine paired with a continuously variable transmission, though that’s all we know at this time. We know even less about the 2019 Ford Fusion Energi Titanium, though we do know it’s upped its electric-only driving range by 20 percent.
