But this isn’t any old hybrid powertrain, this is a Ford truck hybrid powertrain – meaning it’s just as powerful as it is fuel efficient. More specifically, the 4-cylinder 2.5-liter Atkinson-cycle hybrid powertrain of the all-new 2022 Ford Maverick pumps out 191 horsepower and 155 pound-feet of torque all while getting you up to 40 MPG in the city and 33 MPG on the highway.

If you’re not ready for a hybrid powertrain under the hood of your new Ford truck, then you can equip your 2022 Maverick with a 2.0-liter EcoBoost engine that pumps out 250 horsepower and 277 pound-feet of torque.
