Halloween is just around the corner and for many residents of the Tampa, Clearwater and St. Petersburg area - it is their favorite time of year. Many families love the costumes, the candy, the haunted houses, spooky decorations and the Jack-o-Lanterns - and we want to help you make the most of your Halloween this year. Do you love thrill rides and Halloween horrors? Howl-O-Scream at Busch Gardens is a highlight of the season for many with haunted houses, scare zones, horror-themed shows and much more in every corner of the park. Highlights include D.H. Baggum’s Circus of Fear, Stranglewood Estate, The Residence: Home for the Holidays, Witch of the Woods, Sin City Zombies, Big Ed’s Demolition Derby, Cirque X-Scream and more.

Are you looking for a more family-friendly Halloween event at Busch Gardens? Spooktacular is a family favorite event in the Tampa area. Highlights of the Spooktacular event include a festive Spooktacular Costume Parade, trick or treating around the park, Kandy’s World witch training and stories, Spooky Kooky Science and Halloween-themed Sesame Street events on the weekends.

Families in the Tampa, Clearwater and St. Petersburg area will love the Halloween Walk the Lights event. Families can explore the ⅓-mile walking trail with Halloween-themed light displays, animated displays, a maze of lights and much more. The Halloween fun continues in the FOAM play area on select nights of the event. The theme for the Halloween Walk the Lights event this year is pirates.

The Tampa Riverwalk is a highlight of the city and promises fun for families each and every year. This Halloween, the Riverwalk Trick or Treat will be a fun event that you will not want to miss. Dress up in your best Halloween costume and get some delicious Halloween treats at 50 treat stations on the Riverwalk from Water Works Park to Curtis Hixon Waterfront Park.
