When Will the 2025 Ford Maverick Lobo Be Available in Tampa FL?

High-powered, performance-tuned pickup trucks were popular in the 1980s and 2000s and may be making a comeback with the Ford Maverick Lobo — which was inspired by a Ford Maverick built by Tucci Hot Rods at the 2021 Special Equipment Manufacturers Association (SEMA) Show. The street truck design of the Ford Maverick Lobo is 0.5 inches lower in the front and 1.12 inches lower in the rear with a roofline that is 0.8 inches lower than the stock Ford Maverick.

The 2025 Ford Maverick Lobo will be available to order on August 1 and will be available at dealerships in Early 2025. When it arrives at Brandon Ford, it will feature a more aggressive style with a distinct front fascia with a black grille, a painted rear bumper, contrasting rocker moldings, a black painted roof panel, and black 19-inch alloy wheels. The interior of the Ford Maverick Lobo features a black interior with Grabber Blue and Electric Lime accent stitching with graffiti-inspired seats.

What Are the 2025 Ford Maverick Lobo Performance Features?

The 2025 Ford Maverick Lobo is powered by a 2.0-liter EcoBoost® four-cylinder engine that produces 250 horsepower and 277 pound-feet of torque. To deliver the high performance that drivers crave, the Ford Maverick Lobo employs torque vectoring steering and a twin-clutch rear drive unit that delivers precision steering on the road or track. This innovative system shifts torque to the outer wheels when cornering and shifts torque based on the driving scenario to sharpen performance and minimize understeer.

Lobo Mode is an additional feature that true racers will love. The Ford Maverick Lobo Mode is built for the track and will activate torque vectoring and deactivate the stability control system to provide more freedom — similar to the Ford Mustang Track Mode. To upgrade performance, the Ford Maverick Lobo employs the larger radiator and transmission oil cooler that are elements of the 4K Tow Package. The Ford Maverick will add Pro Trailer Backup Assist and Pro Trailer Hitch Assist to improve towing capabilities.
