As we mentioned before, the new Ford F-150 lineup at Brandon Ford in Tampa, FL, is one of the most technologically-advanced pickup truck lineups ever created. We can say that because the 2018 Ford F-150 lineup includes the following standard technology features (with trim level-specific features denoted in parenthesis): two-speed automatic four-wheel drive (2018 F-150 4×4 Lariat trim level and above), auto start-stop engine capabilities, four advanced cargo box tie-downs, configurable daytime running lamps, electronic shift-on-the-fly capabilities (2018 F-150 4×4 XL and XLT), power sideview mirrors (2018 F-150 XL trim level and above), a quick-release tailgate with special locking capabilities, trailer sway control, AdvanceTrac featuring roll stability control and curve control, a tire pressure monitoring system and either a 4.2-inch SYNC infotainment system (2018 F-150 XL and XLT) or an 8-inch SYNC 3 infotainment system featuring two smart-charging USB ports and other capabilities (all other trim levels).
Available technology features for the 2018 Ford F-150 lineup include BoxLink™ with four premium locking cleats, a Class IV trailer hitch, fog lamps, a Ford Telematics system, an integrated trailer brake controller, a plastic drop-in bedliner, a rearview camera featuring dynamic hitch assist, a reverse sensing system, a spray-in bedliner, a stowable bed extender and the SYNC Connect system.
