More specifically, according to Ford, these Over the Air updates are “quick and easy wireless upgrades that can help enhance quality, capability and improve the ownership experience over time while reducing dealer trips.” One of the first examples of these Over the Air updates is the new Active Drive Assist and Active Park Assist 2.0 systems that will first be available on the 2021 Ford F-150.
