The compact 2023 Ford Maverick is a capable option in its class that is available with a pair of engine options – a 191-horsepower 2.5-liter Hybrid and a 250-horsepower 2.0-liter EcoBoost® four-cylinder that are paired with a Continuously Variable Transmission and an eight-speed automatic transmission. When equipped with the standard Tow Package, the Ford Maverick will tow up to 2,000 pounds of cargo with either powertrain.
Tampa-area drivers who need more towing power can opt for the 250-horsepower 2.0-liter EcoBoost® with Advance AWD and add the 4K Tow Package. The Ford Maverick 4K Tow Package will cost $745. Armed with the 4K Tow Package, the fuel-efficient Ford Maverick will tow up to 4,000 pounds of cargo – which is enough to handle most pop-up campers, teardrop campers, canoe and kayak trailers, small fishing boats, small travel trailers and more.
The Ford Maverick is a capable option when you need to haul cargo in the bed with a 1,500-pound maximum payload capacity. The Ford Maverick cargo bed is made even more versatile with the available Ford FLEXBED® system.
