Ford rebuilt the 2017 F-250 Super Duty Crew Cab 4×2 from the ground up, starting with a fully boxed frame that is made up of 95 percent high-strength steel and a segment-exclusive high-strength military-grade aluminum-alloy body. This combination leads to more local frame stiffness at strategic locations throughout the truck which optimizes protection for you and your passengers. Add in an advanced airbag system and the new driver assistance features we’re about to go through and you’ve got the safest heavy-duty truck on the road.
As we mentioned, the 2017 Ford F-250 Super Duty Crew Cab 4×2’s frame isn’t the only thing keeping you safe. It also features a comprehensive suite of advanced new driver assistance systems. These include a 360-degree camera system, adaptive cruise control with collision mitigation, lane-keeping alert and inflatable seatbelts.
