The Moccasin Lake Nature Park is a great place for families to visit. It features oak-lined paths, nature exhibits, educational walking tours and more. The trails are open Tuesday through Sunday from 10 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.; it is closed on Mondays.
Caladesi Island State Park, Clearwater Beach, FL
Tucked in Caladesi Island State Park, the Caladesi Island Wildlife Trail is a 3-mile loop that displays mangrove swamps, a virgin pine forest and more.

Honeymoon Island State Park, Dunedin, FL
Explorers visiting Honeymoon Island State Park can explore the Osprey Trail Head, which is 2.5 miles long and is home to one of very few remaining South Florida virgin slash pine trees.

The Largo Central Park Nature Preserve spans 31 acres and is surrounded by water. It is home to 130 species of animals, birds, reptiles and other critters. Here, visitors can explore interpretive displays, visit an observation tower and walk on a nearly one-mile-long trail.
