We’re proud to announce that all 2020 Ford Super Duty Chassis Cab models powered by the 6.7-liter Power Stroke® diesel engine will feature the new Power Takeoff Provision standard. But, again, what is the Power Takeoff Provision? Well, it’s a new system that combines with the lineup’s all-new TorqShift® 10-speed heavy duty automatic transmission to provide you with best-in-class stationary torque of up to 300 pound-feet for commercial vehicle bodies that require direct-to-component or hydraulic body motor power – an impressive 50 pound-feet more than the competition.
“For a lot of our commercial and heavy-duty retail customers PTO power is the only way they can get a job done. With more PTO torque on hand every task is easier and even bigger projects are now within reach.” – Kevin Koester, Ford Commercial Vehicle Marketing Manager
