There are all kinds of fun family adventures to be had around Tampa, FL. Some are just plain fun and some educate us while entertaining us. We’re going to focus on the educational and entertaining activities this time around since we realized there are a ton of amazing museums around town. There are so many, in fact, that it can be hard to know which one to go check out next. So, we decided to put together our top three museums around Tampa, FL. Glazer Children’s Museum

The Glazer Children’s Museum, located at 110 West Gasparilla Plaza, is the perfect place to take your kids to show them just how much fun learning can be. Exhibits at the Glazer Children’s Museum include Artsmart, Central Bank, Cruiseship, Design + Build, Engineer’s Workshop, Firehouse, Forts, Gadget Garage, Hospital, SMALLab, Vet Clinic, Twinkle Stars Theater and many more.

Tampa Museum of Science and Industry

If you have a budding scientist in your midst, then you need to be sure to bring them to the Tampa Museum of Science and Industry, located at 4801 East Fowler Avenue. The Tampa Museum of Science and Industry offers more than 400 hands-on experiences to show kids the wonders of the world around them. Exhibits include the Saunders Planetarium, the Sky Trail Ropes Course and Zip Line, Mission: Moonbase, the Idea Zone, the Imagination Playground, Faraday’s Cage and so many more.

Tampa Baseball Museum

If your little slugger is more interested in learning about the history of Tampa baseball, then we’ve got the place for you. Just head on over to the Tampa Baseball Museum, located at the Al Lopez House (2003 North 19th Street), and you’ll learn all about more than 80 Tampa baseball legends.
