Vacuum: Your Interior’s Best Friend

We’re guessing your vacuum is one of the cleaning tools you use most often when taking care of your house. Well, the same should be true for taking care of your car’s interior. Dirt and debris left inside a car can get into the cracks and mess up your systems, which is why it’s important to make sure to regularly vacuum out your car to keep it clean and free of debris.

Taking Care of Your Upholstery

There are two main kinds of upholstery inside cars these days – fabric and leather. No matter what, your vacuum is still going to be your best friend. But it can’t do it all. If you’ve got fabric upholstery, be sure to also use carpet or upholstery cleaner to make sure your seats last as long as they should. If you’ve got leather, then you’re going to want special leather cleaner. Just follow the instructions on the bottle and you’ll be safe from stains, cracks and rips.

Keep That Dashboard Clean

Other than the road, what do you look at most often while driving? It’s probably the dashboard. And to make sure you can always see the important things your dashboard tells you, you need to make sure to keep it clean by wiping it with a microfiber dust cloth.

Your Windows to the World

You also need to make sure to always keep your windows clean and free from finger prints, smudges and anything else that can obstruct your view. You’re going to want to use a simple window cleaner to achieve this. Just make sure to wash them inside and out.
