Despite the smaller size, this four-cylinder is no slouch in the power department, offering 310 horsepower and 320 pound-feet of torque.

Mustang GT Engine Power

It would almost be considered blasphemy if Ford did not offer the Mustang with a V8 engine. The 2017 Mustang GT trim level comes with a standard 5.0-liter V8 engine. This powerful engine delivers 435 horsepower and 400 pound-feet of torque. The engine is able to earn an estimated 15 city/25 highway miles per gallon.
