With technological advancements in automotive, you might have come across ‘Ford Blue Cruise’ very frequently. Before we find out what Ford cars have Blue Cruise, let us understand what Ford Blue Cruise is exactly. Blue Cruise is a tech innovation brought by Ford. It allows hands-free driving in the Hands-Free Blue Zones that form over 100,000 miles of the country. When you are in the Hands-Free Zone, the Blue Cruise indicates you with a blue light so you can go hands-free driving.
How it works?
Blue Cruise combines Intelligent Adaptive Cruise Control with Stop-and-Go and Lane Centering and Speed Sign Recognition technology. This allows you to operate your car hands-free. However, a driver-facing camera will monitor you throughout, for your safety. The Blue Cruise software is available at around $600 for a three-year service period.
