As we mentioned in our introduction, the all-new Ford Enterprise Product Line Management initiative is made up of ten all-new cross-functional teams which will manage distinct product lines from start to finish. These teams are the F-Series Team, the Urban Utilities Team, the Rugged Utilities Team, the Family Utilities Team, the Performance Vehicles Team, the Commercial Vehicles Team, the Electric Vehicles Team, the Compact Trucks Team, the Luxury Vehicles Team, and the Emerging Market Vehicles Team. The creation of these teams will allow Ford to take an even more customer-focused approach when building new model year versions of current lineups and all-new lineups.
“Our most successful franchises – from F-150 to Mustang to Transit — are anchored in an obsession for the customer, deep product expertise and an unyielding commitment to strong returns. By taking this approach, we can raise the bar across our product lines. Each team will have clear accountability for winning in the marketplace and delivering profitable growth.” – Jim Farley, Ford President, Global Markets
