As you can see in our comparison table above, the base engine of the new Ford Focus lineup is far more powerful and fuel efficient than the base engine of the 2018 Kia Soul lineup. More specifically, the base engine of the 2018 Focus lineup can provide you with 160 horsepower and 146 pound-feet of torque and get you 30 city MPG and 42 highway MPG.
