While it’s safe to say that every new model year is a big one for each new Ford Super Duty lineup here at Brandon Ford in Tampa, FL, the 2021 model year is quickly proving to be one of the biggest model years ever thanks to the 2021 Ford Super Duty lineup’s impressive power output.

Now, we could say that every new model year, as each new Super Duty lineup we get here on our lot boasts best-in-class power. But this year is different. Sure, the 2021 Super Duty lineup still boasts best-in-class power, but it does so while featuring a trio of engines to choose from, instead of the usual two engine options. A pair of these engine options are regular gasoline engines with the third being a diesel engine option. So, let’s check out these three 2021 Ford Super Duty engine options as we compare the lineup’s gas engines versus the lineup’s diesel engine.

What are the Three Exciting New Engines that Make Up the 2021 Ford Super Duty Engine Lineup at Brandon Ford in Tampa FL?

As we mentioned in our introduction, the 2021 Ford Super Duty lineup at Brandon Ford in Tampa, FL, features an engine lineup made up of three powerful, capable and efficient engines – two of which are regular gasoline engines and one of which is a diesel engine.

Two of those engines – a 6.2-liter V8 regular gas engine featuring a horsepower rating of 385 and a torque rating of 430 pound-feet and a 6.7-liter Power Stroke® V8 diesel engine featuring a horsepower rating of 475 and a torque rating of 1,050 pound-feet – return after successful runs with many previous Ford Super Duty lineups, though they have been enhanced and improved for the new model year to be more powerful and more capable than previous iterations, as you can see by that unheard of torque rating for the diesel engine.

The third option, which debuted during the 2020 model year, is a 7.3-liter V8 engine that slots in between the other two engine options in terms of horsepower, torque, and capability – featuring a horsepower rating of 430 and a torque rating of 475 pound-feet. This engine option is available across the entire 2021 Ford Super Duty lineup and has proven to be a hit with anyone who depends on their truck day in and day out.
