2017 Ford F-150 Raptor New Suspension, Terrain and Steering Features
When people think about new safety features in their truck, their minds invariably go straight to features like driver assistance systems, air bags, etc. And while the 2017 Ford F-150 Raptor has all of that in spades, it also has some other safety features that are unique. For starters, it has a new race-optimized long-travel suspension that allows it to handle any terrain with ease. Working in tandem with that new suspension is the new Terrain Management System of the new F-150 Raptor. The system allows you to choose between six drive modes – normal, sport, weather, mud/sand, Baja and rock/crawl – to get the best performance out of your F-150 Raptor no matter the road conditions. Finally, the 2017 F-150 Raptor allows you to customize your steering feedback by selecting one of three steering modes – normal, sport and max assist.
2017 Ford F-150 Raptor New Driver Assistance Features
The 2017 Ford F-150 Raptor also features a comprehensive suite of new driver assistance systems, headlined by its 8-inch off-road display and 360-degree camera with split-view display. The off-road display helps you monitor your Raptor’s pitch, roll, steering angle and driveline status. The camera provides you with multiple views around your 2017 Raptor so you know exactly what’s going on around you. The camera also features a lens washer to ensure your view is never obscured.
