2017 Ford F-150 Safety Rating and Features

The 2016 Ford F-150 earned the reputation of the safest model ever produced. With the new version of this truck now arriving at dealerships everywhere, the 2017 Ford F-150 safety rating and features continue to set the truck apart from the competition.

After government safety testing, the 2017 Ford F-150 emerged with an overall rating of five stars. This is the highest possible score. In addition to the five star overall score, the truck earned five star ratings in front- and side-impact protection and four stars for rollover protection.

The Insurance Institute for Highway Safety awarded the 2017 F-150 the highest possible score of “Good” in all testing categories. This includes the difficult small-overlap front impact test.
