2017 Ford Fusion V6 Sport Engine Horsepower

Published on Mar 3, 2023 by Product Expert

Fans of the 2017 Ford Fusion will have noticed that the car is being offered in a new trim level for the new model year. Ford has added the V6 Sport trim level to the 2017 Fusion lineup. The 2017 Ford Fusion V6 Sport engine horsepower will set this sedan apart from other cars in its class.

2017 Ford Fusion V6 Sport EcoBoost Engine

Powering the 2017 Ford Fusion V6 Sport is, unsurprisingly, a V6 engine. To get more specific, the car comes equipped with a 2.7-liter turbocharged EcoBoost V6 engine. Ford’s turbocharger does an excellent job, allowing the engine to produce 325 horsepower and 350 pound-feet of torque. The engine’s fuel economy is rated at 17 miles per gallon in the city and 26 miles per gallon on the highway. This power is sent to all four wheels via the Fusion Sport’s all-wheel drive system.

To help maximize this power and performance, the 2017 Fusion V6 Sport includes the special “sport” driving mode, which is activated through a button by the car’s dial shifter. When set in sport mode, the Fusion’s various systems will be set to maximize the sedan’s performance.

2017 Ford Fusion V6 Sport MSRP

One of the main factors setting the 2017 Fusion V6 Sport apart from other competing performance sedans is the car’s starting MSRP. The manufacturer’s suggested retail price on the Fusion Sport starts at $33,475, though individual dealership pricing may vary. This is one of the best prices for a 300-plus horsepower sedan on the market.

The 2017 Ford Fusion V6 Sport, and many other great Ford performance models, is currently available right here at Brandon Ford. Pay us a visit to take one for a test drive and learn more about everything we have to offer here at Brandon Ford.
