The Ford Shelby GT350 Mustang will be getting some significant upgrades for the 2017 model year. Now this stellar performance car will include several features that previously were only option as standard equipment. The 2017 Ford Shelby GT350 Mustang release date is set for later this summer.
2017 GT350 Mustang new standard features
Ford’s significant change to the 2017 Shelby GT350 Mustang is to include the Track Package as a standard feature. This great package adds an aluminum tower-to-tower brace, high-downforce decklid spoiler, engine oil, transmission and differential coolers and the MagneRide damping system.

If these features are not enough, and when you’re talking about performance cars, there really isn’t such a thing as too many features, two optional upgrade packages are also available. The first is the Electronics Package that includes SYNC 3, a nine-speaker audio system and voice-activated navigation. Upgrading things even further is the Convenience Package, which adds leather-trimmed power sport seats along with all the features of the Electronics Package.

In addition to the new package options, three new colors have been added for the 2017 model year. Classic colors like Race Red, Magnetic, Triple Yellow, Oxford White, Shadow Black and Avalanche Gray will be joined by the new Ruby Red Metallic, Lightning Blue and Grabber Blue.
