2018 Ford F-150 Police Responder Engine and Performance Features
Just when you thought the 2018 Ford F-150 lineup couldn’t get any better, what with the 2018 Ford F-150 Diesel model and performance enhancements throughout the lineup, the 2018 Ford F-150 Police Responder comes along and completely blows our minds. The new Ford F-150 Police Responder is powered by a 3.5-liter EcoBoost engine paired with a SelectShift 10-speed automatic transmission. This pairing offers 375 horsepower and 470 pound-feet of torque, which is a higher output than any other available pursuit-rated vehicle. It also features advanced four-wheel drive, so it can handle any terrain it may need to traverse over.
2018 Ford F-150 Police Responder Crime Fighting Features
The new Ford F-150 Police Responder offers the largest passenger volume and highest payload and towing capacity of any other pursuit-rated police vehicle thanks to its 145-inch wheelbase, high-strength steel frame and high-strength military-grade aluminum-alloy SuperCrew body. It also features a police-calibrated brake system complete with upgraded calipers and pad friction material, an upgraded front-stabilizer bar for improved braking and handling and 18-inch alloy wheels with all-terrain tires. Inside, it features an upfit-ready interior complete with a column shifter with center-seat delete, heavy-duty cloth front seats with slim bolsters and anti-stab plates, vinyl rear seating and heavy-duty vinyl flooring. Furthermore, it features a high-output 240-amp alternator to support on-board electrical devices, a police-calibrated speedometer and underbody skid plates.
