The new Ford Taurus lineup at Brandon Ford in Tampa, FL, is made up of the 2018 Ford Taurus SE, the 2018 Ford Taurus SEL, the 2018 Ford Taurus Limited and the 2018 Ford Taurus SHO. All models other than the new Ford Taurus SHO feature a standard 3.5-liter Ti-VCT V6 engine offering 288 horsepower and 254 pound-feet of torque. Your gas mileage ratings depend on the drivetrain configuration you choose. All non-SHO 2018 Ford Taurus models equipped with front-wheel drive get 18 miles per gallon in the city and 27 miles per gallon on the highway, while those equipped with all-wheel drive get 17 miles per gallon in the city and 24 miles per gallon on the highway.
The 2018 Ford Taurus SHO, on the other hand, features a standard 3.5-liter EcoBoost V6 engine offering 365 horsepower and 350 pound-feet of torque while getting 16 miles per gallon in the city and 24 miles per gallon on the highway with all-wheel drive, which is the only configuration available for the new Taurus SHO.
