When Ford announced they were reentering the midsize truck segment with the all-new 2019 Ford Ranger, people knew it was going to be something special. And those people were right. That’s because the 2019 Ranger packs all the power, capability, fuel efficiency and dependability of the 2018 Ford F-150 and 2018 Ford Super Duty lineups into a smaller package. The all-new Ranger will also feature an available FX4 Off-Road Package to make it the perfect choice for off-road adventurers. Last, but certainly not least, the all-new Ford Ranger will be one of the safest and most technologically-advanced midsize trucks available. To see what we mean, we’re going to go over some of the best new safety and driver assistance features of the 2019 Ford Ranger.

As we mentioned, the all-new 2019 Ford Ranger will be one of the safest midsize trucks ever built. We can say this because the 2019 Ranger features safety and driver assistance systems such as automatic emergency braking, an optimized lane keeping assist system, an updated lane departure warning system, an upgraded reverse sensing system, and a class-exclusive blind sport information system that itself features enhanced trailer coverage capabilities. Additional driver assistance features include pedestrian detection capabilities and an adaptive cruise control system. If you go with the FX4 Off-Road Package, you’re also getting Ford’s all-new Trail Control system, which is essentially cruise control for off-road adventures.
