Different Engines for Different 2018 Ford Taurus Models

One of the biggest differences between the four 2018 Ford Taurus trim levels is what’s found under the hood. That’s because the new Ford Taurus SE, SEL and Limited trim levels feature a standard 3.5-liter Ti-VCT V6 engine that pumps out 288 horsepower and 254 pound-feet of torque while getting up to 18 city MPG and 27 highway MPG. These three 2018 Taurus trim levels also offer you the choice between front-wheel drive and all-wheel drive. The new Ford Taurus SHO, on the other hand, houses a standard 3.5-liter EcoBoost V6 engine that pumps out 365 horsepower and 350 pound-feet of torque while getting up to 16 city MPG and 24 highway MPG. This trim level only offers all-wheel drive.

Different Features for Different New Ford Taurus Trim Levels

Your standard features also vary depending on which of the new Ford Taurus models you choose. Standard features for the 2018 Taurus SEL, Limited and SHO include a free six-month SiriusXM Radio subscription, a remote start system and a reverse sensing system. Standard features for the new Taurus Limited and SHO include a heated steering wheel, a rear-window power sunshade, a blind spot information system with cross traffic alert and power-adjustable pedals.
