Does the 2017 Mustang offer rearview mirrors with horse lasers?

Sometimes, it’s the little things that can make a difference. The Ford Mustang is one of the most popular vehicles ever produced. In order to help celebrate this heritage and popularity, Ford has equipped the Mustang with several fun features. One of the best examples of this are the neat horse lasers built into the side mirrors on some Mustang models. These little lights shine the Mustang logo onto the ground below the car when the doors are unlocked. So does the 2017 Mustang offer rearview mirrors with horse lasers?

The horse laser mirror lights do make their return for the 2017 model year. This feature is available on Mustang models equipped with heated rearview mirrors. This includes the EcoBoost Premium and GT Premium trim levels.

In addition to the horse lasers, the Mustang Premium trim levels come equipped with several other great features. EcoBoost Premium and GT Premium models offer ambient interior lighting, selectable drive modes, special interior accents, dual-zone automatic climate control, heated and ventilated seats, leather upholstery, a nine-speaker sound system and Ford’s new Sync 3 touchscreen infotainment system.

Both of these trims also include upgraded standard engines. The EcoBoost Premium is powered by a 2.3-liter EcoBoost four-cylinder engine. This engine delivers ample performance at 310 horsepower while earning the best fuel economy ratings available on the Mustang at an estimated 21 city/32 highway miles per gallon.

GT Premium Mustang models come equipped with a 5.0-liter V8 engine that maxes out the sports car’s power ratings at 435 horsepower and 400 pound-feet of torque. Fuel economy ratings on the more powerful engine check in at 15 city/25 highway miles per gallon.
